The lightweight carbon fiber material not only helps reduce overall weight and increase volume but it also optimizes airflow into the airbox for improved engine performance. This RACE SPEC airbox lid is UNFINISHED and WILL HAVE MINOR DEFECTS IN THE EPOXY SURFACE. This intentional decision was made to keep the retail cost as low as possible due to the VERY HIGH amount of labor required to make each one. OVER 1 LB LIGHTER THAN OEM 5% MORE VOLUME WORKS WITH OEM FUEL RAIL AND INJECTORS AND HARDWARE LID ONLY - OEM LOWER HALF OF AIRBOX, INJECTORS, FUEL RAIL, AND CARBONSMITH UPPER FUEL INJECTOR BRACKET ARE NOT INCLUDED RACE SPEC - WILL INCLUDE MINOR SURFACE FLAWS DUE TO UNFINISHED SURFACE LIMITED QUANTITIES WILL BE MADE MADE TO ORDER ONLY - 2 TO 3 WEEKS LEAD TIME In order to maintain our extremely high standard of quality products, CarbonSmith AIRBOXES are not available in mass quantities and are made to order. Each AIRBOX LID takes 2-3 WEEKS TO MANUFACTURE and are MADE TO ORDER , therefore your patience is very much appreciated.
