Hence the current for charging will be limited to 8A even if the solar current is greater than 8A. Please note when the actual solar current is less than 8A, there will never be any such limiting effect and EcoFlow MC4 to XT60 Solar Cable will charge just fine. This item EcoFlow MC4 to XT60i Solar Cable has an additional pin wired to detect and identify the charging source as solar and hence when the actual solar current is more than 8A , the current will not be limited to 8A (car charger input) enabling faster charging.
