PLEASE READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION BELOW. Upgrade your Creality K1 MAX with a full size LED system to enhance the visibility inside of your enclosure. Please note this only fits the K1 MAX, not the smaller K1. The Creality K1 MAX comes equipped with a small LED strip inside of the enclosure. Despite being a much larger machine than it's smaller counterpart - the regular K1 - they both use the same LED strip. It's small, tends to look a bit blue, and has no diffuser lens so the output is quite harsh and directional from one side of the printer. This LED upgrade kit provides you with a diffused, aluminum framed replacement LED light bar that mounts to the same location as the original strip but provides a daylight color temperature for comfortable viewing. It also has a min. 90CRI for nice color if you're shooting time lapses or other photography inside of your enclosure. Remember that the purpose of this kit is not necessarily to be brighter since this is still a relatively small space. You do not want glare or over exposure from an extremely harsh bright light. Instead, this will span the entire width of the printer frame providing a nicely distributed natural light inside of your printer with good color rendering. The kit is plug and play to the original printer harness but also includes extra wires and external power supply if you wish to come up with your own mounting solution or transfer to a different application. Note: The included wire extension has an inline switch for on/off functionality if powered externally.
