The left page lists each day of the week in a Monday–Sunday format, and the right page features graph paper for additional notes. Notes: Using this book with a Hobonichi Techo Weeks clear cover may cause the front cover to stick up. This effect is temporary, as the clear cover will wear in over time. The dyes used in the cover may transfer to other objects, especially if wet. The corners of the cover may have light traces of press marks from the manufacturing processes. This planner features classic Tomoe River paper. Beginning with the 2024 April-start planners, all Hobonichi Weeks will use the new Tomoe River S paper. Because the paper is so smooth, ink will take longer to dry and may be more prone to smearing on Tomoe River paper than it is on typical notebook or copy paper.

Each weekly spread also contains the characteristic Hobonichi quote in English on the bottom of the page.
