The mount's solid construction provides strength and reliability on the road by featuring a spring-loaded mechanism that expands to securely hold smartphones up to 4 inches wide. Arkon recommends using the RoadVise Holder with smartphones with skins and ruggedized cases. The RoadVise is designed to use two hands to install and remove your device. This is to make sure your device cannot be accidentally removed while adjusting viewing angle. The low-profile holder keeps rear smartphone cameras free for spontaneous pictures or videos. Available in chrome or black (see Arkon Model RVMC2B) finishes, the mount is made of aluminum and features a minimal but solid design. The mount fits on handlebars measuring up to 21.68mm (.85 inch) up to 30mm (1.2 inches) in diameter and is easy to install with the included hex key. (Three handlebar spacer/adapter rings of different widths are also included with the mount. Choose the appropriate size to achieve the best fit for your handlebar.) Selected Garmin GPS devices can also be mounted by simply removing the holder and revealing the 17mm ball mount base.
