The Heavy Vapours expression is aged in ex-bourbon and ex-oloroso sherry casks, which impart a range of flavors and aromas to the whisky. On the nose, you can expect notes of smoked meat, iodine, and brine, with hints of vanilla, honey, and dried fruit.

On the palate, the whisky is full-bodied and rich, with a smoky and peaty character that dominates. You'll also taste flavors of dark chocolate, espresso, and black pepper, with a long, warming finish that leaves a lingering smoky aftertaste.
