Sylvania va lancer au CES 2017 des ampoules connectées et colorées "Smart Multicolor", compatibles HomeKit, à l'installation plus simple que les HUE de Philips. Elles n'auront pas besoin de pont pour se connecter au routeur de la maison, la connexion se fera directement par Wi-Fi depuis l'ampoule. On pourra ensuite les associer à l'app Maison d'iOS 10, les intégrer à l'intérieur de scènes et les piloter avec Siri. Bien sûr, il faudra toujours un Apple TV de dernière génération ou bien un iPad pour servir de relais lorsqu'on voudra les piloter depuis l'extérieur du domicile.
